Alright, let's do this. Hey there, I'm going to give this a shot in my own unique voice. So, the story goes that my man John Wayne was back in high school in the summer of 2006, when he met a new friend named Ryan, aka "The Ox". Now, this guy was called that because he was a big, strong dude with a last name that kind of sounded like "ox".

John and Ryan played sports together all throughout high school, but eventually, Ryan had to move away to another city. It wasn't until a few years later, after John and his wife moved to Cadillac, that the gang was reunited! And with that reunion came a shared dream of doing something fun and active that could also support their families.

The question was; what to call their new venture? They brainstormed all sorts of ideas, like "Ox n' Berg" and "Duke and The Ox", but nothing was really working. Then, during a random moment when they were detailing Ryan's car in John's barn, John's wife suggested the name "Ox Dukey" and they all just lost it! They had a good laugh and kept coming up with all sorts of slogans, color schemes, and uniforms, all while having fun and not taking things too seriously.

Throughout it all, John and Ryan knew they wanted their company to be the best possible opportunity for their employees and the best possible value for their clients. And that, my friends, is the story behind the name.
